Partner to the firm, Lecturer Dr. Dimitrios Babiniotis was one of the three speakers to the 38^th annual conference of civil procedure law held between 05/09 – 08/09 at Serres. The subject of this year conference focused on civil procedure issues pertaining consumer law. Dr. Babiniotis analysed the civil procedure issues arising in the protection of the consumer when this is undertaken before the courts by the consumers union as provided for by article 10, para.15 (a) of Law 2251/1994.

Prof. Constantin Calavros, managing partner of the Firm, also chaired and commented on the third panel of the conference dealing with the claim against the producer of a defaulted product.

A higher level of understanding and awareness for the very topical issues connected to consumer protection law was established admittedly by all participants and speakers to this year’s conference.
