2nd Pharma Law & Compliance Congress

Calavros and Partners Law Firm attended the 2nd Pharma Law & Compliance Congress held by S.F.E.E. on March 8th 2018. The Congress held by S.F.E.E. was aiming to inform its participants about the latest legal, regulatory, tax, development and compliance issues in pharma sector. Professor Constantin Calavros coordinated the second panel of presentations regarding competition issues among pharmaceutical companies. Congress’s highly respected speakers pointed out the need of incentives in the R&D Sector and the necessity of a “stable” and investment friendly legal framework for reimbursement in the pharma field. Furthermore, main subject of the congress was the compliance issues arising in the pharma industry, the upcoming changes in accordance with the European GDPR and the transparent procedures that need to be implemented in the pharma sector. As one of the most experienced Chief Compliance Officers pointed out: “If you think compliance is expensive, then try non-compliance”.
