Professor Constantine Calavros launched his new treatise on UNCITRAL Model Law on International Commercial Arbitration as incorporated in the Greek legal order by virtue of Law no. 2735/1999 (in Greek pp. 914). Forty years after “Das UNCITRAL-Modellgesetz über die internationale Handelsschiedsgerichtsbarkeit” (1988), Professor Calavros revisits all major questions posed in the theory and praxis of international commercial arbitration under said regulatory framework and shares with us his vast experience as arbitrator and practitioner and his unique theoretical insight as academic. This treatise will most certainly become the point of reference for arbitration practitioners in Greece.
