Our law firm successfully represented a well-established producer company against a competitor seeking a prohibitory injunction against it and requesting a recall of all products distributed in the national market under the European trademark at issue, with the value of the pertinent products exceeding 8 Mio Euros. Classic topics of trademark law were addressed, including the similarity of trademarks and brand names and the descriptive character of trademarks as a necessary precondition of national and European registration.
